ZyXEL EMG2926-Q10A router, unlocked for OpenWRT Introduction
Giving away ZyXEL EMG2926-Q10A router, originally from Videotron. It is identical to the ZyXEL NBG6716 but required unlocking before installing OpenWRT. I made one misconfiguration and it now doesn't start the DHCP server. Giving away as I don't have time / need to manage it anymore, but should be recoverable through UART and/or TFTP.
Additional features not found on other routers:
- hardware on/off switch
- hardware LEDs switch
- hardware wifi switch.
Modifications:
- 1GiB USB drive configured for extroot, mounted internally
- UART debug port, labelled. Uses standard 3.5mm TRRS connector, compatible with CP2102-based USB converters.
Does not include any cable or power adapter (it was plugged on a common 12V power supply with 2.1mm standard connector). Very easy to open.
