If you purchase a USB stick not from Microsoft with a Windows installation installed it could contain malware. If you purchase a USB stick not in a manufacturers sealed package it could contain malware. It is easy to make your own. You will need an empty USB stick of at least 8GB. If you have more than one make sure you choose the one you want to install to as any data on the USB drive will be overwritten. -Click Next. -For Windows 10 click the radio button beside "Create installation media (USB flash drive, DVD, or ISO file) for another PC". It would be best to only have the USB stick you want to install to plugged in. -Click Next. To change option first click the checkmark beside "Use the recommended options for this PC". -Under "Chose which media to use" leave on the default "USB flash drive". -Click Next -If you only have one USB drive plugged in it will be chosen as default. If you have more than one make sure you choose the one you want to install to as any data on the USB drive will be overwritten. -Click Next. -Windows installation files will be downloaded. -Download will be verified. -"Creating Windows 1X media" will start. -When finished will display "Your USB flash drive is ready". -Click Finish. -Boot from USB Windows installation stick. -To access the boot menu, you need to press a specific key or combination of keys during the computer's startup process. The exact key or key combination depends on your computer's model.
