There’s lots of nice Fall riding ahead and this bike is just what you need for riding the city’s bike paths.
This bike is in very good mechanical condition and shifts, brakes and rides almost like new. I lubed the chain, adjusted the derailleurs a little and gave the whole bike a good cleaning.
This bike was manufactured by Procycle in Quebec for the Hudson’s Bay Co.
Appearance-wise it has only the odd scratch and the Frosty Silver Metallic paint is almost factory-fresh. There is the odd scratch and some rust here and there but overall it’s in amazing condition for its age.
The frame size is 22.5 inches (57 cm) and is thus considered a MEDIUM frame suitable for someone 5'9" to 5'11" (175cm to 180cm).
The bike has full Shimano equipment and even the wheel hubs are Shimano.
The very comfortable Dorcy saddle is almost like new with no scuffs or rips.
The Rigida wheels are straight so the centre-pull brakes work just fine.
The wheel size is 27 x 1 1/4 (metric 32-630) and the tubes hold air well but the
tires should be replaced soon. Hence the low price.
I’m asking $98.00 because this is such a pleasant bike to ride and in such nice condition but it needs new tires. Price is firm-ish but I will consider all offers.
