I am not well experienced with this device but as I understand it, this will take a VGA Output and upscale the image to HDMI qualities. Some use cases I have heard of is recording or streaming higher quality off of retro computers. It is a bit more complicated then just an adapter and so I am asking for $70 as I see most of these going for about $100. Chances are if you don't understand what this does, it will sound expensive but I think given what I learned from it my price is reasonable.
