These Kef Cresta 1 mini monitors have a few minor nicks and dents along the edges. They look well enough overall.
They are about the same size as the LS3/5a and feature a 4 inch Kef B110 mid/woofer and a 1 inch cloth dome tweeter. Frequency response is +/- 3db 50Hz-20kHz.
They have been upgraded with the following modifications:
- Mundorf MCap EVO capacitors and Mundorf MR10 metal oxide resistors in the crossovers.
- The crossover printed circuit boards were removed and the crossover components secured and soldered point-to-point.
- Audioquest wiring (GO-4 line with PSC+ / perfect surface copper).
- Cardas binding posts (copper plated with silver & rhodium).
- Cardas solder.
