Nice pair of Vintage McIntosh XR7 Isoplanar radiator speakers with MQ-101 Equalizer, Made in the USA Hard to find, Not seen for sale often, Great overall condition, One of the removable / replaceable tops has a small chip in the veneer on one side (see pics) Working as they should, All original, One owner before me, Original owner had them professionally refoamed about 4 - 5 years ago Large, Heavy, Powerful sounding speakers, Good at everything, Larger amp recommended but you can get away with any vintage 50 wpc if you must, I currently run them on a Sansui 7070 (pictured with them) which is only about 65 wpc and they sound fantastic and go house rattlingly loud Features : -4-way floor system has two 12" woofers, 8" lower mid, two angled dome upper mids and four angled tweeters -Walnut finish veneer with clear vinyl laminate -Replaceable top and base -Hinged grille -Black grille cloth -Plug-in printed circuit crossover board. Crossover cover at the top front has block diagram plus main and tweeter fuses -Red and yellow indicator lights at bottom right, Red light indicates tweeter fuse blown, Yellow light indicates maximum power level Specifications : Type : 4-way, 9 Driver, Sealed enclosure Crossovers frequencies : 250Hz, 1.4kHz and 7kHz Impedance : 8 ohms Sensitivity : 89dB @1w/1m Power rating : 300w Size : 40-3/16"H, 19-1/2"W and 14-3/8"D Weight : 125 lb.
