Superior Electric STC Powerstat Variable Autotransformer 120V Introduction

Preowned working Superior Electronics Company STC Powerstat variable transformer. This is a 120V single phase 1-1 variac that requires manual operation. No model number is legible but it is believed to likely be a 1156D based on research done. Unit operation has been tested using a light bulb, no further testing beyond this has been undertaken. Diameter is 38 cm, weight is at least 70 pounds. It was originally mounted in the yellow Philips equipment rack that I have listed separately. Cosmetically there is a crack in the outside housing which is visible in the attached photos but this does not affect operation. Please review photos and ask to view if interested.
