Rare PSB Passif I (Model One) Speakers, Pair, 1970's, Canadian Introduction

Super nice, Ultra rare pair of PSB Passif I Speaker from the mid 70's, Made in Canada One of Paul Barton best designs and by far the best and rarest of the Passif line of speakers, This version having butyl rubber surrounds on both the woofers and matching passive radiators which never need refoaming and are like new Extremely nice and well balanced sounding speakers, very smooth and detailed with great (surprising) low end grunt Cabinets are in excellent condition and the grills are in great shape as well, Just a little dusty The only downside to this version is the speaker connector plates, Which is also the crossover mount, The plastic they used for this piece became so brittle they completely disintegrated, so a new speaker plate was fabricated from Real Hardwood oak board and the crossover components were reattached with industrial strength glue and new speaker connection terminals that now accept bare wire or banana plugs were added (see pics), You can also see the internal bracing and insulation of the well made cabinets There are two capacitors in each crossover (10uf, 15uf) that were tested and are in perfect condition, (they can be easily changed at the buyers discretion further down the road but these were also play tested for days and they sound fantastic as is Specifications : Frequency Response : -35-21,000Hz On Axis @ 0°±3dB -On Axis @ 0°±1.5dB 70-20,000Hz -Off Axis @ 30°±1.5dB 70-15,000Hz Impedance : 8 Ohms Input Power : Recommended 15 to 150 Watts Program : 100 Watts Acoustic Suspension Design Tweeter : 1" (25mm) Textile Dome Woofer : 8" (200mm) Fine Grade pulp cone Butyl-rubber Roll Passive Radiator : 8" (200mm) Fine Grade pulp cone Butyl-rubber Roll Crossover : 1,500Hz, Second order Butterworth Size (H x W x D) : 26" x 12.5" x 10.5" (66 x 31.8 x 26.7cm) Weight : Net 30lbs (13.6kg)/each Finish : Hickory Vinyl Veneer Looking to get $495, Pretty firm, Low ballers will be ignored If the ad is up they are still available Can deliver within 80km of St. Laurent shopping center Please email for fastest response Also, Please check out my other listings Multiple item and return customer discounts available High Quality speaker wire and Banana plugs also available Thanks
