These gorgeous Polk RTi 12 are a pair of tower speakers from one of my personal family rooms and are still currently being used. They look and sound incredible, never needed a sub with them as they simply rumble even down low. Tower speakers don't get much better than this especially for this price. The RTi12, feature an impressive driver array using Dynamic Balance® drivers: a redesigned 1" silk/polymer dome tweeter for stellar treble extension, dual 5-1/4" drivers for rock-solid mids, and three 7" woofers providing the earth-shaking bass rumble. These speakers move a lot of air, and dish out smooth, wide-open sound with extremely low distortion. Just pop in your favourite CD or DVD movie — you won't believe your ears. And they don't just sound great; the real wood veneer will be a great addition to your decor. The RTi12 includes Power Port Plus, Polk's Power Port technology. One front and one rear port work together with internal plates to reduce noisy air turbulence and increase bass efficiency. Plus, Polk's ARC (Acoustic Resonance Control) port technology ensures rich, natural mids. Other cool features include two sets of gold-plated 5-way binding posts for biamping or biwiring and anti-diffraction grilles for a large, open, three-dimensional soundstage with pinpoint-accurate stereo imaging. Adjustable spikes provide stability on both carpeted and hardwood floors. The drivers are video-shielded. I have been running them with an older Yamaha Natural Sound 80watt per channel, high damping factor amplifier and it has always sounded excellent, never had the need to run a subwoofer with them. * bass-reflex design * High Frequency Driver ~ (qty 1 ) - Dynamic Balance high dispersion tweeter, 1 in silk/polymer dome tweeter that provides clear, detailed highs. Ask your questions and I will answer them as promptly as possible. * (2) - Messages come to a computer and not cel-phone, so extend a bit of patience if I dont' respond right away. * (3). - I don't hold things for people who say they are coming to get it based on their word, so, don't get all bent out of shape when I sell something that YOU claim you are coming for, but, are not willing to send me a small deposit to show me you are serious. There are too many 'Kijijites' out there who make offers and claim they are coming 'Right Out' ,then climb back into the woodwork and disappear. Put your money where your mouth is. If you are serious about something and want me to hold it for you for a week or less then send me a deposit. If it is not like I claim it to be when you come to see it then I will refund your deposit. * (4). - Please remember that some brand new or seldom used older gear that has been sitting may work for years without troubles, or, it also may develop small troubles simply from lack of use. There is no warranty that comes with my gear no matter the condition unless I state it clearly in the ad. That being said if a piece of gear develops some troubles, give me a call and let me see if I can help you out. I like to think that I am a reasonable person within reason. * (5).- There is no cure for misuse and abuse or just plainly being a 'Dumbass'. There is nothing more frustrating that talking with someone who was too proud to ask for assistance, but, instead wires up something wrong, burns or blows it up then attempts to blame their own mistakes on someone else.
