A Western Electric 396A dual triode preamp vacuum tube, 4 available, date code and quality matched, even original WE-marked blue and white boxes are all date matched. All test NOS, all are unused except for our testing. All have same date code '8226' (26th week of 1982). Each tube is marked with same 'Western Electric 396A MADE IN U.S.A. 8226'. Each has been tested in an amplifier, very detailed and smooth and clear sound quality. Tested on calibrated Hickok Cardmatic 123R tube tester with results: Remaining Life - all tubes pass cathode activity test, Leakage - all tubes pass test, Quality - all are 70, well within NOS range for this Cardmatic tester, Gas - all tubes pass test, Shorts - none, all pass test. All pictures are of the 396A tubes for sale. Round halo getter, flashing excellent (each has one 1/8-inch wide radial mark on flashing from testing, see pic), tubes are unused except for our testing. Very crisp, as-new well-marked logos on all tubes. Original and correct WE light blue and white boxes are in excellent condition, all boxes are marked on end flap with '100792977 396 A 7-82 7495'.
