Here’s your chance to get a complete matching “vintage” stereo setup. Luxman has been called the Japanese Macintosh for good reason. The legendary Luxman R-117 is one of the most powerful stereo receivers ever built at 160wpc into 8ohms. It’s massive power will drive anything you connect to it with ease. The Luxman sound is incredible. This receiver alone retailed for $1200USD in the late 80’s (I believe it was $1700CDN when I bought it) so it was definitely high end at the time. Sure, it doesn’t have the vintage silver look of the 70’s gear but it will have more power and sound better than a lot of that stuff. It can output to a sub which most vintage equipment can’t. The receiver was recently serviced. The turntable was serviced and has a new akg cartridge. The dust cover is almost perfect. Everything works and the faces of everything looks good (the top of the cd player has scratches). Willing to audition with Kef Q750 speakers for serious buyers.
