DEEP LEARNING/GAMING/DEVELOPING,
at the fraction of the cost of an NVIDIA/AMD gpu.
intal arc a770 fp16 calculations: 39 tflops
vs the 4070 super fp16 calculations: 35 tflops
(for those who think it can't play games, it not only runs fp16/fp32 ai tensors)
it sure can GAME, too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y09iNxx5nFE&t=296s
(250 fps/mmo games tested)
$250.00
intel's ARC a770 LE (560 GB/s)
it's around the same power as a RTX 4070 (504.2 GB/s)
i'm not saying the intel card is better,
but for FP16 calculations/applications, it is better.
(and the video encode renders faster than a rtx 4090 can)
video proof here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ZGEhfwT0Dg
the only downside to the card is the gaming support (which is still being worked on)
anyone can expect the drivers to age like a fine wine as intel solves game issues for
all of today's hottest titles, one by one. otherwise, it's a gorgeous gpu
(they don't work sli/alongside each other yet, only in some ai applications-not games)
