Hartt Director's Quality exotic kudu wholecut shoes, 11.5D

Hartt Director's Quality exotic kudu wholecut shoes, 11.5D Introduction

Fantastic pair of vintage shoes. These were made in Fredericton, NB by Hartt, likely mid to late 80s. They are from their top "Director's Quality" line. They are made from exotic kudu antelope, which is a very rare, tough, yet flexible leather, with eye-catching natural grain. They are Goodyear welted on double leather soles with a 270 degree storm welt. They have Goodyear rubber nailed heels, and a 7-nailed waist, a quality feature almost never seen these days. They are in excellent condition and have barely been worn. Although they are marked "factory reject" I find nothing wrong with them besides a few signs of light wear. These would be stunning with a blue suit, or brown, tan, etc. These are size 11.5 D, a medium-wide fitting, on the very nice, popular 82 last. $275 firm plus shipping if required.
